自2018年創辦，WAIC便始終致力于成為全球行業風向標。過去八年，大會在深化國際合作、加強全球AI治理和監管以及與更廣泛的國際社會分享AI技術成果方面取得了卓越的成就。

以2025 WAIC為例，中國政府在大會期間發表了《人工智能全球治理行動計劃》并提出13項切實可行的具體行動。 除此之外，中方還倡議成立世界人工智能合作組織，旨在加強人工智能領域的國際合作，釋放智能紅利。

For instance, the WAIC 2025 featured the release of the Global AI Governance Action Plan, which outlined 13 practical moves. Additionally, a proposal was made to establish an organization which fosters international cooperation in guiding and regulating AI initiatives, leveraging AI for the common good of humanity.

把握中國市場脈動

當首屆世界人工智能大會舉辦時，很少有人能夠預見人工智能產業的發展，也沒有人能夠準確判斷大會將在AI領域中扮演什么樣的角色。

In 2018, when the inaugural WAIC was held, few people could have predicted the development of the AI industry, nor could anyone accurately determine the role the WAIC would play in the broader AI landscape.

By 2026, it has become clear that the annual WAIC has precisely captured each leap in China’s AI development, from individual breakthroughs to systemic capabilities. Almost every AI advancement in vision, speech, chips, large models, embodied intelligence, AI for Science and global governance has been showcased on this platform.

為城市AI發展按下快進鍵

近年來，上海致力于推動AI產業的發展，AI應用幾乎覆蓋了從制造業到日常生活的各個方面。這個中國東部的經濟中心也專注于AI的全球治理，致力于將治理共識從概念轉化為機制。在過去的八年里，WAIC發揮著催化劑作用，不斷促進了這座城市對AI驅動未來的承諾。

In recent years, Shanghai has been committed to promoting AI industry development, with its applications spanning nearly every aspect of society, from manufacturing to daily life. The economic hub in East China has also been dedicated to the global governance of AI, focusing on transforming governance consensus from concepts to mechanisms.

Over the past eight years, the annual WAIC has served as a catalyst, advancing the city’s commitment to its AI-driven future.

After eight years of development, the annual WAIC has sharpened its vision, focusing on advancements and communication in technology, applications and end use.

技術方面重點從芯片、算力、模型和框架到AI基礎設施，回答“AI能力從哪里來”。應用方面涵蓋金融、醫療、制造、交通、辦公、娛樂和工業智能等領域，回答了AI如何融入實際產業的問題。終端方面的發展重點包括智能手機、可穿戴設備、人形機器人和具身智能設備。

The technology focus expands from chips, computing power, models and frameworks to AI infrastructure, addressing the question, where does AI capability come from? The application approach covers sectors such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, office, entertainment and industrial intelligence, answering: how does AI integrate into real industries? The end-use focus encompasses smartphones, wearable devices, humanoid robots and embodied intelligent equipment.

八年成長，WAIC已經成為一張觀察中國AI產業成長的動態圖譜。它見證了中國AI從底層技術補課，到大模型集中突破，再到行業應用深化和智能終端爆發；也見證了全球企業在開放平臺上同臺競技、交流合作、共同定義下一階段人工智能的發展方向。

After eight years of growth, the WAIC has become a dynamic map of China’s AI industry growth. It has witnessed China’s progress from foundational technology catch-up to breakthroughs in large models, the deepening of industry applications and the explosion of intelligent terminals. It has also seen global companies showcasing, exchanging and collaborating on an open platform to define the next phase of AI development.
